The Interpretive Centre is located near the Redwater Oil Derrick at 4944 - 53 Street. The Oil Derrick and Interpretive Centre are a lasting show case to the dedicated and hardworking men and women who devoted their lives and careers to Redwater and the development of the oilfield. 

August 30, 1948 was a pivotal time in Redwater’s history changing our sleepy little town into the thriving community it has become.
